MAC - New lower prices plus 15% discount

I am slowly building my MAC collection but I am a stingy girl! I only buy when it is only sale. Luckily, the new lower prices from MAC came right on time. It was my birthday and that was my excuse to splurge. (Especially now that my husband is always checking what I am purchasing. He always ask if it is something that I need.) I made my birthday as an excuse so my brother pays for my make-up. Thank you John!

Yes! That is right! I had 15% discount for registering for the first time on MAC website. This is why I always prefer to shop online. They would always have promotions. No code required, the 15% was automatically discounted from my total order.

It was delivered the next day for free

I appreciate the next day delivery. They say patience is a virtue but I don't like waiting. Make sure to order before 10PM so your order is delivered the next day.

One free item included

It is a little awkward to ask for sample items so you can try them before you buy them. So having freebies when you order is a plus for me. Mahiyain po ako sa personal. I stray away from approaching the sales lady as much as possible. I still haven't tried this yet so I can't say if it is any good. Hopefully, one of my make up days I will be able to try it.

1. Blot powder

I have very oily skin so I am always on the look out for appropriate powder for my skin. I used blot powder to set my RCMA foundation and did not have a problem with the skin. It gave me a very fresh looking skin.

2. Mineral Skin Finish in Soft and Gentle 

I heard so many good things for this supposed to be highlighter for your face. I used this for the first time on a bride and I loved how it gives enough reflection. It is not overly the top highlight but just enough glow to say she's blooming.

3. Pro Long Wear Paint Pot in Painterly 

I was undecided whether I should get Painterly or Soft Ocre. I ended up choosing painterly as most youtubers I watch uses it. I have been using this non stop. I love how it cancels out any discoloration on the eyelid. It is easy to blend too! I want to buy the soft ocre next.

4. Matte Lipstick in Velvet Teddy

I had already transferred this into my Vueset palette before I can take a proper photo. I took a photo but I feel it does not translate the real shade of the lipstick. Judy from itsjudytime raved about this once so I decided to try it but I don't think I like this on myself. I feel that it is too light for my liking. You can see the difference compare to my other nude-brown lipstick.

I blame youtube for making me buy these things. Do you ever get that feeling when you watch too many youtube videos that you feel you need the stuff they are promoting? My office mate who we will hide under the initial "JH" told me she wanted the Cover FX stuff she saw from youtube. I laughed when she said she does not what it is for. I told her that she does not need it because she does not wear make up in the office!
