Affordable Makeup you need to try from Juicy Beauty Cosmetics

Hey loves! It has been a while. I know right? Where was I? I almost forgot about this blog. Anyway, I am pretty much active in Instagram so make sure to follow me there. While I was lurking around the IG world, the cute, pink packaging of Juicy Beauty Cosmetics caught my eye. Their products are so fun to look at. I contacted them and asked if I can try their products. Lo and behold, they have sent me a couple of their products to try. Wow! Their packaging is even prettier in person. I was so thrilled!

Have you heard of this brand before? Me? I haven't so I asked my friend, google. I found that they are a brand in Syria who are founded in 2012. See below link to visit their website.

Their products are on the cheaper side. I mean cosmetics nowadays are getting more expensive. Don't you agree? Does beauty always comes at a cost? Blah, blah, blah! Why don't I show you what I got so you can check if this is something you should try.

1. Snapchat Stick Foundation F5 (Retail Price: AED35)

My THOUGHTS: First, can we appreciate the packaging! This is so cute! The pink case is like velvet to touch. However, this might get dirty really fast. The shade F5 was too light on me but I made it work by adding bronzer on my skin. It did blur out my pores when I applied it on my face. The coverage is very buildable but I didn't want to end up looking like a ghost hence I only applied one layer. I would agree that it is light on the skin. However, since I have oily skin it did oil up on me after 30 minutes of wear. I just have super active oil glands. I thought it was a primer at first because the name says pretty filter. I can't explain how it smells but the smell is really nice.

My THOUGHTS: Again, the packaging! It looks so pretty! Oh my goodness! It is so fun to look at. I was also screaming when I saw the colors in the palette that I got. VIOLET IS MY FAVE COLOR. I was so happy to have this palette! Some of the matte shades are not as pigmented as I wish it would be. I had to layer the colors a couple of times before showing the true color as shown on the pan. However, I did enjoy using the palette on my eyes as they blend with ease. I will be playing with this some more and post looks I made using the palette. However, please note that this does not smell nice. It smells very chemical. You won't notice it until you stick your nose into the palette but I wish they can do something about that.

3. Fairy Highlighter and bronzing palette No222 (Retail Price: AED30)

The Highlight and Contour Palette comprises of four highlighters; icy white, warm bronze, golden bronze and champagne gold. For contour shades ranging from light to deep. The perfect palette to dial up or dial down your highlight and contour, taking you from day to night.

My THOUGHTS: The highlighters in this palette is very similar to some of the shades in the Makeup Revolution Sophx palette.

As you can see the colors are very much alike. Even the packaging is similar to each other.

You won't be able to distinguish which is which. The bronzers blended like a dream. However, I think the shades are too close to each other. This, the same with

the eyeshadow palette smells very chemical.

4. Making Eyelashes Mascara (Retail Price: AED20)

My THOUGHTS: No further details found online but the IG photo claims to give volume. This has a huge mascara wand! I am personally not a huge fan of the wand because I have small eyes. I was really careful not to smudge the mascara on my lids. It was also difficult to reach my lower lashes. However, it did provide volume as claimed. It also did not smude on me after wearing it for a couple of hours which is usually my problem with mascaras.

5. All Day Kiss

I received the Shades No. 3 and No. 9

My THOUGHTS: No further details found in their website too but this is under matte liquid lipstick. I am not a fan of the bright pink packaging which I feel made the lipstick tacky. I also thought I wouldn't like the shades they sent me but to my surprise, it really looked good on me. Also, the wand on this is smaller compared to regular liquid lipstick which made it easier to reach the edge of the lips. The application can be sometimes patchy but you can build the color. This smells like Mikmik too, it is a chocolate powder snack we have in the Philippines.

6. Fik Ma Tbousne Lipstick No.310 (Retail Price: AED10)

Claims as per the website:

What it is: A highly-pigmented, powdery matte finish lipstick

Ingredient Callouts: Free of parabens.

What Else You Need to Know: Fik Ma Tbousne Velvet lipstick melts on the lips to create deep color in as little as one swipe. This lipstick delivers comfort unlike any other matte lipstick.

My THOUGHTS: This is my favorite among all liquid lipstick I received. Very comfortable on the lips and the color is perfect for everyday use. The smell of this is slightly milder than the other liquid lipsticks. Packaging is also nice and pleasing to look at. You might not be able to tell that this is only AED10 in price. Very opaque when applied on the lips. Not drying on the lips too! Very worth trying!

7. Mademoiselle Liquid Lipstick F14 (Retail Price: AED15)

I received the Shades F7 and F14

My THOUGHTS: Now, this is very opaque when applied on the lips! F7 is too brown for my liking but I do like F17. This is a kind of red I can wear. The handle of the wand is velvety to touch too. Very satisfying to touch. This dries super matte on the lips but not drying on the lips.

8. Bebe Glossy Lipstick 806

My THOUGHTS: No further details online for this lipstick but this is under creamy lipstick. I mean, can we appreciate that pigmentation? Super creamy and pigmented on the lips. However, I don't wear barbie pink lipsticks so the color maybe too much for me. The packaging has this illusion of water droplets on the packaging. The color of the packaging is so appealing to me. It is just so pretty to look at. This does not have any smell which is a good thing for me.

These are all the products I received from Juicy Beauty Cosmetics. I feel so blessed to be receiving PR packages lately. Not only that, I have fellow bloggers to share it with. Overall, the products I tried so far from the brand made me so curious of their line. Very promising! Please do like them in Instagram and let us support brands that makes affordable products. Perhaps, other brands would consider lowering their prices if competitive brands like this dominate the market. Right? Who doesn't love affordable and quality products?
