My husband and I bought an Entertainer Voucher App simply because we love to eat. Most of the restaurants here in Dubai are expensive hence, having a buy 1 take 1 promo is quite helpful. We share both love for food and enjoy trying new restaurants. We woke up on a Friday weekend and decided that we want to have a lunch buffet. I went to my Entertainer App and searched for a buffet restaurant near our area. The closest I found was Fountain Restaurant by Movenpick Hotel and Apartments. It is located in Oud Metha which only cost us AED 12.50 from taking a taxi. It's nearby Oud Metha metro station which is about 10-15 minutes walk.

The Experience:
Restaurants normally have a small podium where you are welcomed to be assisted to your seat. But on their case, we approached a couple of waiters chatting in front of a cashier to ask if we can use our entertainer to dine. It is quite confusing as there was no name of the restaurant posted to confirm that we were in the right place. We were escorted to a table and started looking at the food selection.
They have different selections that would suit everyone's palate.

Made to order food
I went to the salad section for my first plate. My husband really enjoyed the smoked salmon in that small clear jar.

My second round, I took some meat from the Asian section and took some cured salmon and bread from the Curing Section. To be honest, I was almost full at this rate. I do drink a lot of fluids in between chewing so I get full easily. My husband on the other hand got all the meat he can eat.

I ordered the seafood platter which tastes delicious! This is part of the made to order menu. I personally prefer seafood over meat. I recommend that you order this when you visit Movenpick.

I also liked the seafood soup. Don't know what it is called really, but I can eat this all day!
We also tried their mock tails. I preferred the virgin mojito among all that we tried. (We weren't able to take a photo but you already know how that looks).

I wished there were more room for desserts, but my tummy is absolutely full. They have a massive selection for dessert! I had tiramisu, carrot cake, strawberries and kiwi "something" dessert (LOL!)
Hungry bears scoreboard:
Food Selection: 4/5
They do have a huge variety of food to choose from but I wish they have grilled food as well.
Food Quality: 4/5
There is nothing that we didn't like among the food we have eaten. The pork part is just a little tough.
Value for Money: 4/5
We paid AED 209 for the both of us which is a great discount because of the Entertainer however I don't think I will pay AED 209 each.
Service: 3/5
The kabayan server assisted us very well and even recommended some food for us to try, but I personally did not feel the same attentiveness with the other waiters. I wished that we were informed about the made to order meals and drinks when we were assisted to our seats, and not when we were midway our meal.
Location: 5/5
The location is about 10 minutes walk to the metro. We decided to walk from the hotel to the metro to burn some food we ate.
Ambiance: 3/5
I feel like the food situation were all over the place. The place did not give me a relaxing vibe, although there was a lady who was playing a cello but the music was not very fluid.
Average Score: 3.8/5 (I hope my calculation was right!)

I hope this is helpful. What are the other buffet restaurants you tried? Do you have any recommendations?
